STORY 5_ GOING HOME

GOING HOME

Noah and Ava have been living in a small house on an island. Noah is a naughty and funny puppy but he is also very faint-hearted. Noah often teases Ava, a fastidious kitten. Ava is so easy to be angry. Noah and Ava often chase each other around a very old oak tree stump. However, one special thing is that their mothers are very congenial. They always share the foods or confide together.
One day, Noah and Ava are playing under the oak tree stump and their mothers are sitting inside their house. Suddenly, the sky becomes dark, a whirlwind appears. They just have time to look at each other for a while. Then everything is going to turn upside-down. Noah and Ava hug together in their fear. They close their eyes but they still feel that they are drifted with tables, chairs, chickens, cows and sheep.
Then when they wake up, they just see a completely strange place. The two pity animals try to open their round eyes to find their mothers. They are dejected because there is no kindred trace of their house. Noah begins to be afraid and he is going to cry. With the experienced nature, Ava regains her calm. She says: “There will be a way to go home and you must stop crying. It is very stupid! ”. So Noah and Ava walk hardly, and their stomach begin to cry out.
Then Noah and Ava decided to steal the foods in a small restaurant near there. Ava is very nimble and her movement does not create any sound while Noah is gluttonous and awkward. Noah drops dish, and the foods come spilling out. So the boss finds out them. Then Ava runs inside to save Noah so they are chased and beaten.
Fortunately, Ava has time to keep a piece of cake in her mouth. She opens her mouth to takes it out. At first, Noah wants to retch but he can only eat because he is so hungry. Then they sit down near a corner of an old, wet, nauseous road. They recline on back and remember their warm dinner from their mothers with a lot of cakes, fruits, soups, breads and bones. Noah feels very regret because he just eats, plays and never helps his mother to do anything. Maybe that thing makes him become so awkward. Ava also says to Noah: “I used to hate my mother because she always gives me so many things to do. I thought that she is so strict with me. But until now, when I am being far from her, I understand the meaning of that things my mom taught me”. Then two of them drop off to sleep.
When they have just woken up, they see a large-billed crow is starring at them. Noah is angry and he drives out the crow. But Ava holds him back, then she asks the crow for the way to go back home. The crow shows them that there are two ways to go home, one long way and one short way. The long way will be easier but it spends more time while the short way is very dangerous but it will be faster. Noah and Ava choose the short way because they are so hurry to go home.
Then Noah and Ava started on a journey to find their house. On the way, they meet a lot of matters. But relying on their bold, clever mind and their loves to two mothers, they overcome every dangerous or difficult situation.
Finally, when they escape from the dark forest, they see the old oak tree stump from very far. And there are two mothers are sitting and waiting for their children. Noah and Ava are so happy. They forget any tiredness, and they run as the whirlwind to their mother’s arms. Then they dance together under the oak tree stump.

STORY 4: CHASING ON THE BEACH

 CHASING ON THE BEACH

1-Sentence Summary            : A naughty monkey named Ken whose guitar box broken by a coconut fruit, and he tried to catch a little crab named Ten on the beach to make a new guitar box by Ten’s hard carapace.

Ken was a little naughty monkey. Ken often created a lot of tricks to tease others. Ken also really liked playing the guitar. One day, when he was playing his guitar and dancing on the beach, a coconut fruit suddenly fell down on his guitar. His guitar box was broken. Ken sat down, sighed and thought: “How to buy a new one without money?” He tried to find a way to make a new guitar box by himself.
Ken looked around the area, and then his crafty eyes stopped at a small dune which had a crab creeping inside. That crab had a quiet nice carapace. Ken saw that Ten was completely wrapped in scratching sands. Then an idea flashed across his mind. Ken imagined a new guitar box made by the hard carapace of the crab. Ken was so excited with that idea, so he thought that he has to catch Ten at any cost.
Ken went over and struck up a conversation with Ten. However, Ten looked at Ken with cautious eyes. Ten was a very clever and nimble crab so he could guess something dangerous was going to happen from Ken’s cunning eyes. Ken raised his hands planning to snatch Ten but Ten had casted the sands all over Ken’s face already.
Ken got angry and he chased Ten on the beach. Ten picked up a banana on the way. Then he crept into the sands in time for hiding from Ken. Ten used that banana to lure Ken. Ken jumped with sparkling eyes when he saw the banana. Ken ran like the wind and snatched the banana. Ken sat down on the dune where Ten was hiding below in the sands. When Ken was going to eat the banana, Ten used his sharp-pointed pincers to prick Ken’s buttock. He felt so sore. He shouted, bounced up and fell down the water surface.
Ken struggled a while, then he found a branch and swung himself onto it. Ken jumped ashore drenched. This time, Ken flew into a rage with his eyes flashing angry glares.
Ken saw Ten and continued to chase Ten along the beach. Ten lolled his tongue out to challenge Ken. Ten laughed, overjoyed because he won Ken. Suddenly, he saw a big shadow behind. That was a guy who was finding crabs for his dinner with a small jacket on his hands. Ten looked back and saw Ken had caught him already. Ten pranced and held fast to Ken’s nose. That guy scratched Ken’s nose but he could not pull Ten out. Ken got hurt so he ran away.
Finally, the guy chased Ken. Ken ran along the beach with his nose stuck tightly with Ten there.

Part 2: KEY CHARACTER
1.     Mrs Twit:
Mrs Twit brought relaxing smiles to us by the way that the writer describe this character humorously. It also educated children about the way how they think and do daily activities. It taught children that if we bring up their ugly thoughts in our mind, they will make us become worse and worse.
Mrs Twit was an ugly character not only from her outside, but also in her soul.  I was so impressive when I read about her horrible face because it also symbolized for her horrible soul. She always lived with the bad ideas when she was a child until she grew up and became an old woman. She lived selfishly, and she did not have any loves for children or animals. She often drive them away.
For me, Mrs Twit showed me about the selfish thoughts, the life without loves and sharing with others. I can feel the most dangerous thing in our life is our selfish inside the soul, thoughts and action. Mrs Twit also did not want anybody to win her even if it was her husband. But it was also disastrous thing and made her get failure. The selfish and ugly thoughts
Even if you haven’t a beautiful face and you haven’t a nice body, and so on but you had a very nice soul with the good thoughts, you will become the best person in the eyes of people who lived around you. And although something really bad happened to you, please don’t think of bad things. I think maybe that was also the key message from the writer.

2.     The Little Prince:
The Little prince not only showed the innocent minds of children but also contained a store of philosophy for adults. The tone of character and story was too exciting that if someone ever read, it was difficult to stop. Through by quaint and pure thoughts and feelings of the Little Prince, we also learned a lot of meaningful lessons of life.
The Little Prince showed me the reason why between the billions of the same people, there was only one person who made me feel the most special. Why in everyone’s eyes, the color of yellow wheat field still was itself, but for someone, it had a very special meaning?
How about you? Have you ever been tamed or ever tamed someone? The answer could be one, two or a lot. When you read this story, do you remember them?
Do you believe in that? I think maybe somewhere on a very faraway planet, there is a Little Prince living there with his own rose. He already felt her scent and her gentleness behind every claim and saying. Languages are the main source of every mistake because people just see clearly by their heart.
I could not forget the image of the Little Prince. He came back to his little planet but he left the meaningful things. This world is too large. Dreams are endless. The Little Prince travelled over other planets and finally he still was on tenterhooks to miss his little planet. That come-back was difficult and sorrowful. Could he come back?
I think he came back already and maybe the writer also visited him. Maybe the writer was not confused about whether the picture of the sheep without snout-ring ate the rose of Little Prince or not.
If someone who really loves this story, they can realize which is the only one star of Little Prince in the billions of stars on the night sky. Inside everyone there always existed something great, mysterious and respectful. And we should remember that “It’s only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eyes”. You must have responsibility with your taming someone. I also guess that is the key messages that the writer wanted to send to us.
