Story 1_PHAN THI MAI_2C

THE CHOICE BETWEEN DREAMLAND AND CURRENT WORLD

Tin was a 12 years old-girl. Tin had a short brown hair with a choppy face. She was quiet short. When she got angry, she always frowned at everyone. Tin rarely smiled but when she smiled, she gave her decayed tooth away. Tin also had a habit is tearing her hair as she was confused or worried. Tin liked eating pudding cakes from her mother's cooking. Tin talked to everyone with a haughty attitude so she did not have any best friend. Especially, Tin often walked with an ver affected manners. She was not friendly and it was not possible to share and sympathy for others. Tin was born in a very rich family. Her father was a business man with a busy work, so it was difficult for him to have more time to take care his hard-headed daughter. He just scolded Tin as a way to keep her far away from bad things in her life. With that disposition, Tin did not have any friend except a flashy cetonia called Jill. Tin felt bored and she hated her current life because she though that there was no one caring her. Tin dreamed about a completely different world that not liked this.

One day, Tin and her cetonia walked along the road. The children provoked her anger by their derision. She knitted her brow and threw her remaining number of acorns to them. But they seized acorns from her and said "Thank you for your acorns!". Tin shouted: " Remember! Next time will be my shoes, not the acorns!". The children just sticked out their tongues at Tin and ran away there. Tin flopped down into a footpath and looked at her little cetonia. Jill was so scared of her, so he huddled into his wings. Tin breathed a deep sigh, closed her eyes. Then she imagined about a dreamland with the white clouds and breezes arounding her.  She looked at into the sky and craved to travel there. Then she decided to leave her house to find the way to go her dreamland. Tin walked following the sunlight all day. Then she dropped off to sleep because of exhaustion. Suddenly, Tin was star led once she saw a boy with as white as snow skin, who looked like an little angle. He extended his hand and helped Tin to stand up. Tin pulled a face because she did not know who he was. He was seemed to understand her feeling, so he introduced himself and said: " I am Ten, I will take you to my kingdom of clouds! Would you like to join with us?". Tin was so happy, so she nodded assent. They flied in the space which was full of white clouds. Tin had never seen any place where like this. She could feel the warmness from her new friend. On the way, they past by small windows of the houses building by big clouds. She saw a young mother was lulling a child to sleep in the cradle. She also saw a tall and heavy father was carrying his little daughter on his back. The children here were playing in the yard like lovely angles. The elderly people were telling stories under a big tree stump. Tin wondered whether these sceneries were possible to see in her current life or not. At that moment, she was there, she did not feel lonely or boring. It was a very comfortable feeling.

Then they came to Ten's house. His parent opened the door and said hello to Tin. Tin said that she wanted to stay in their kingdom and she did not want to go back home. They asked her the reason why she decided like that. She said: "I am bored and I hated my current world there. I don't have any friend and fun. I also don't have warm embraces from my parents, they always think about money! I feel lonely there". Ten's parent were agree to keep Tin stay in their kingdom but Tin must work to earn the money for her lives. So the hard-headed girl stayed there and every day she went to forest to find the mushroom, then she also fed the rabbits. She might do many things that she had never done before. Since then, Tin changed her bad personalities day after day. Tin also did not know when she fell in line with friends here. She could throw off her haughty ego to open her heart to share her thoughts with others. Tin lived there for 2 weeks already. She remember the pudding cakes of her mother, the scolding of her father and the children near her house. She wanted to come back home. The things that she hated before, at that moment she really craved to get them again. However, she did not know how to find the way to go home. Then Tin asked Ten. He said that there was only one way but it required her bravery and determination. Ten took Tin to the boundary between 2 worlds. It was a deep abyss. Tin might use the happiest memories about family to cross it. Tin began to closed her eyes, she though about the pudding cakes of her mother  which was very soft and swinging like the floats. The scolding of her father became the ruler to make the parapet for the bridge building by pudding cakes. The memories of her childhood with the friends created the chain hooks which connect her bridge to go home. Finally, Tin ran very fast crossing the bridge and waved her hand to say goodbye to Ten. Ten smiled happily.

After crossing the bridge to come back her current world, she smelled the flavor of pudding cakes. She also heard her father's voices vaguely. She waked up suddenly and ran to the kitchen. Tin hugged her parent tightly and said: "I'm sorry! I love you so much and thank you for bringing me to this lovely life!". Then she looked at the window and smiled playfully with the children on the road.
